A Cantabrian by choice, Clay and his family relocated to Christchurch in 2015, keen to invest in the Christchurch rebuild. With a desire to become his own boss, Clay started looking for the right opportunity to leave his finance career behind.
The turning point came in 2021 when the Bakers acquired Leisure Spas from Peter, beginning their entrepreneurial journey in Ōtautahi, Christchurch – the City of Balance. Fueled by a genuine passion for people’s well-being, relaxation, and wellness, the family-owned business takes great pride in creating inviting spaces for Kiwis to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Matt has been part of the Leisure Spas team for over 10 years now and have extensive knowledge of all pools we currently sell and have sold over the years making him an asset to our operation. In addition to his longevity with the team Matt has been managing the spa pool servicing for Leisure Spas
An ardent carnivore, when not at work he can be found perfecting the best meat dry rub with his two sons for his meat smoking addiction which has gone to a new level with the recent acquisition of a wood pellet smoker.
